When we leave this world, we might be forgotten eventually by the inhabitants, however we want our deeds to be endless, even after the soil is put over our bodies.
Our brothers and sisters in Africa have suffered too much. Much work has already been done and more is required.
There are a number factors behind the level of poverty Africa. Some of the main factors can be the result of political instability, ethnic conflicts, climate change, tribalism and other man-made causes and natural calamities.
One of the key actors behind poverty in Africa is due the lack of access to clean drinking water.
According to UN Water, water availability is expected to decrease in many regions. Yet future global agricultural water consumption alone is estimated to increase by 19% by 2050, and will be even greater in the absence of any technological progress or policy intervention.
This is where Legacy Africa comes. Not only do we want to fundraise for clean water, food, shelter and Masajid, we want to also serve with our own hands.
Each step we take, will be followed by others, until together our footprints embeded in this world, will tell a different story in helping to make a big difference to lives in this life and the hereafter.
